Pisa cream liqueur set for UK
A cream version of the Pisa liqueur brand is being launched into the UK by Harvey Miller Wine & Spirits Agencies (HMWSA).
The move follows the launch of the main version of the Italian brand, flavoured with almonds and pistachios, earlier this year. Like Pisa, the cream liqueur has a slanting bottle based on the famous leaning tower. HMWSA managing director Alistair Mutch said: "While there are obvious leaders in the cream liqueur market, there is certainly room for a new quality contender."
Tuborg is Jam concert beer
Tuborg lager is the official beer of a tour by a group formed by two of the original members of the Jam. Bass player Bruce Foxton and drummer Rick Buckler reformed the Jam with a new singer in place of Paul Weller and have a 24-date tour starting on 21 November.
Tuborg is being served in concert venues as part of the deal, which provides the opportunity for the brand and the band to "work on joint marketing and media initiatives", said supplier Carlsberg UK.
