Call to suffering pub licensees
The newly formed National Association of Licensees wants to hear from suffering licensees

The newly formed National Association of Licensees (NAL) wants to hear from any suffering licensees.

The NAL, which hopes to get off the ground in the next six months, is the brainchild of Wiltshire licensee Bob Feal-Martinez.

They want to hear the whole truth from those who are prepared to go public with their storiesBob Feal-MartinezWiltshire host

The idea to form the body was ignited by the many contributions on the morningadvertiser.co.uk forums which have provided licensees a real platform to air their views.

Feal-Martinez claims he has been in contact with a senior presenter of a TV programme who is willing to showcase the plight of licensees if enough evidence is gathered.

Possible issues to be looked at include rents, beer prices, dilapidations, beer monitoring, insurance, smoking ban, Sky and Government regulation.

"They want to hear from licensees who are suffering," said Feal-Martinez.

"They want to hear the whole truth from those who are prepared to go public with their stories."

"We must not let this opportunity slip by now we potentially have the national media interested," he added.
