1. Brothers Toffee Apple Cider

Brothers Cider is launching a limited-edition Toffee Apple Cider as a bewitching beverage for Hallowe'en and to help make Bonfire Night go with a bang! Brothers feels a new winter-friendly flavour will carry on the success it had with Strawberry & Pear flavour over the summer. Brothers Toffee Apple Cider is available through Coors Brewers.

2. Westlers Hot Dogs

With the end of a non-summer leaving people feeling out in the cold, what better way to bring back a little warmth than with a bright and colourful fireworks display, a glowing bonfire - and some hearty hot dogs?

Westlers Hot Dogs can be enjoyed by all the family, not just on bonfire night but throughout the winter. And they can be given a healthy spin by serving them in a wholemeal roll with the traditional tomato ketchup, mustard and onions. Or you can add something different to your hot snacks menu with a chilli dog made with Westlers Multi Menu Chilli Con Carne.

3. Schöller's Erlenbacher Spider Cheesecake

Looking for a dessert with ghoulish appeal? Check out Schöller's Erlenbacher Spider Cheesecake, available now on a buy-two-get-one-free offer.

The cheesecake contains a devilish mix of low-fat curd cheese, sour cream and eggs set on a crisp, shortcrust pastry base enriched with cocoa. The topping is made using a dusting of chocolate paste, artfully designed to mimic a spider's web and create a perfect Hallowe'en dessert.

4. Badger Pumpkin Ale

Badger Pumpkin Ale is Dorset brewer Hall & Woodhouse's contribution to the season. The 4.6 per cent ABV ale is sweet and slightly smoky with hints of roast pumpkin, cloves and peat, and recommended for accompanying pumpkin pie, sticky toffee apples and carrot cake.

There's even a a recipe for an autumnal Pumpkin Ale Soup:

• Take the cubed flesh of one pumpkin, a large potato and a bay leaf, boil until tender and drain

• Chop an onion, a small chilli and two garlic cloves and sweat with one teaspoon of curry powder

• Add cooked pumpkin mixture, 500ml stock (chicken or vegetable) and a good glug of Pumpkin Ale, simmer and season to taste

• Blend to a creamy consistency, add a swirl of double cream and serve.
