Corona Extra, the world's fourth biggest selling beer, is at a crucial stage in its annual quest to discover the UK's top turntable talent through Movida Corona, the world's largest DJ competition.
Corona is now holding the regional finals of the competition, which it says is the biggest ever and is being backed with its strongest campaign to date.
Movida Corona is a worldwide DJ music event that reflects the global positioning of the brandAngel Garcia Gomez, head of Corona Extra in the UK.
The initiative includes bespoke POS material, Corona Extra branded vehicles, giant inflatable and walking bottles as well as street performers and promotional girls.
They have supported more than 40 Movida Corona heats that have taken place in towns and cities across Britain with over 500 DJs taking part. The competition's regional finals are now being held.
The UK final will take place at the famous Ministry of Sound in London on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 and the winner will go onto the world final in Rome in December when they will compete against DJs from over 70 other countries to be crowned the ultimate mixing maestro.
