1. The Board Inn, North Yorkshire
The Board Inn in Lealholm near Whitby, North Yorkshire, dates back to the mid-18th century and has a riverside setting in the North York Moors National Park.
The pub has a good range of bar and dining facilities, including a dining room seating around 40. In addition the inn has four letting bedrooms and self-catering accommodation as well as owner's accommodation.
Price: The freehold was sold through agent Colliers Robert Barry for an undisclosed sum off an asking price of around £450,000.
2. The Pint & Post, Cornwall
Located four miles north of the Cornish town of Launceston, the Pint & Post combines a pub and tea-room and also a post office.
The pub comprises a public bar to seat 14 and a tearoom to seat 14, both with exposed beams and open fireplaces. A customer car park and a garden overlooking open countryside also feature. Owner's accommodation consists of two double bedrooms.
Price: The freehold was sold through agent Christie + Co for an undisclosed figure off an asking price of £375,000.
3. The Carpenters Arms, Norfolk
The Carpenters Arms in East Winch, east of Kings Lynn, Norfolk, has been acquired by chef Stewart Webster and his wife Debbie.
It comprises a main bar, snug bar, restaurant with 50 covers, large car park, rear beer garden and front patio. Owner's accommodation includes three bedrooms.
Price: The freehold was sold through Britannia Business Sales of Diss off an asking price of £499,000.
4. The MacDonald Arms Hotel, Perthshire
The MacDonald Arms Hotel in the village of Balbeggie, Perthshire, has been sold on behalf of Perth-based pubco the Curly Lloyds Group. It has a prominent location on the Main Street (A94) about five miles of north of Perth and three miles from Scone Palace.
It comprises a public bar and lounge, a large 44-cover restaurant, five newly-refurbished en-suite letting bedrooms, a separate three-bedroom owner's flat, a large beer garden, car park and double garage.
Price: The freehold was sold by Christie + Co off an asking price of offers over £295,000.
5. The Plough Inn, Nottinghamshire
The Plough Inn, in the village of South Leverton near Retford, Nottinghamshire, is a 17th century village freehouse which has recently been sold to Tim and Estelle Lindley. The pub will be managed by Ron and Pat Varney. It comprises two interconnecting bar areas with open fires, an elevated beer garden and customer car park. The owner's accommodation includes two bedrooms.
Price: The freehold was sold by Humberstones off an asking price of £315,000.
6. The Blue Boys Inn, Kent
The Blue Boys Inn, in Pembury, Kent, occupies a prominent site on the London to Hastings road five miles south of Tonbridge.
The ground floor consists of a lounge bar, bar servery, a 30-cover bar and dining area, rear bar area and restaurant. Outside is a beer garden and 25-capacity car park.
