I think both products taste OK. Looking at the packaging, I thought they might be too sweet, but neither of them were.
It does taste like normal wine but it's a little thin on the palate because of the low abv. I prefer the white because I like dry wine, but the rosé also has a good taste.
The frosted bottle effect is over-the-top and unnecessary, as the product is just going to be poured into a wine glass. Frosted glass is dated now, and I think the plastic cork is tacky.
I've never tried a low-alcohol wine before and this isn't at all bad. I drink lots of different types of wine, so it would be difficult to make any direct comparisons, but it does taste like proper wine.
I would drink this at lunchtime or in the afternoon, but probably not in the evening when I'd prefer something a bit stronger.
I might buy it, if I was driving - it's good that people are being offered lower- alcohol drinks, because some wines are much too strong.
To be honest I'm not sure if it will be a success - it seems expensive and wasteful to buy such a small bottle - and it's very thick and heavy, with too much packaging.
There's a ritual involved in buying and sharing a bottle of wine - it's a fashionable and continental thing to do.
I associate single- serving bottles like this with cheapness and a lack of authenticity.
