Food & Fuel, the pub group set up by ex-Spirit Group colleagues Karen Jones, Jo Cumming and Peter Myers, has doubled the size of its estate, with the acquisition of Front Page Pubs for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition of Front Page, which owns five leasehold sites in London, takes Food & Fuel's estate to 10.

Front Page, which was founded by Chris Phillips and Rupert Fowler, owns The Page, The Sporting Page, The Open Page, The Racing Page and The Settle Inn.
Jones, who is a former chief executive of Spirit Group, said: "The Front Page pubs are an ideal addition to Food & Fuel: great London sites with good outside areas and lots of potential for food growth.

Jones launched Food & Fuel at the end of June last year with Roger Myers, co-founder of Café Rouge, and ex-Spirit investment director Cumming.
The company's current sites in the capital include The Prince Regent in Gloucester Road, The Roebuck in Chiswick, and Queens in Crouch End.
