It's the second bank holiday weekend in May so that means it must be time for the football league play-offs.

Over this coming Saturday, Sunday and Monday, six football teams from Leagues One and Two and the Championship will have the opportunity to take a massive stride up the footballing pecking order and into the higher leagues.

On Saturday, current League Two sides Bristol Rovers and Shrewsbury meet at Wembley to decide which of them moves up to League One. The prospect of escaping the lowest level of league football should mean the teams really go for it. There's coverage on SS3 from 2.30pm, ahead of the 3.00pm kick-off.

Next up, on Sunday it's Yeovil and Blackpool's turn for a spin in the spotlight. The League One sides will be busting a gut to ensure they take that step into the Championship. Coverage is on SS2 from 2.30pm, and the match kicks off at 3.00pm.

Rounding out the trio of matches, Derby County and West Bromwich Albion meet to decide who makes it into the Premiership for next season. Coverage of Monday's match is on SS1, starting at 2.00pm ready for the 3.00pm kick-off.

In rugby union, two of the home nations play the first matches of their summer tours this Saturday.

Wales are in Australia for a two-Test tour. They take on the Wallabies in Sydney on Saturday morning our time. The teams last met in Cardiff as part of the autumn internationals in early November when they played out a high-scoring draw. This match should be another cracker, as both sides look to put down a marker with the World Cup just around the corner. Kick-off is at 11.00am, and you'll find live coverage on SS2.

Later the same day, England take on South Africa in the first of their two Tests. World Cup final try-scorer Jason Robinson leads a severely depleted side. It's hard to imagine anything other than a heavy defeat against the Springboks. England coach Brian Ashton will have plenty to ponder. The match, on SS2, kicks off at 2.00pm
