Archers Brewery has been placed into administration.
Archers, which is based in the Great Western Railway locomotive works in Swindon, is a brewer of award-winning ales for the independent pub sector. Archers has its own transport fleet, which enables it to serve the whole of the UK through its distribution outlets. The company, which brews around 10,000 barrels a year, currently employs 20 people.

The company has run into difficulties due to cash flow problems.
David Bennett, director and joint administrator at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Reading, said: "Archers is a well-established business and has been brewing award-winning ales since 1979.
"Archers currently brews over 190 different ales making them a producer of one of the largest range of cask ales worldwide.
"We are continuing to trade the business and are seeking to achieve a going concern sale within a short period of time. The support of the employees, suppliers and customers is key throughout this difficult period.
