On the sporting front, there's plenty to offer your guests over the next seven days.

For starters, it's the final round of fixtures in this year's Six Nations tournament. Following last Sunday's remarkable win for England over France, the boys in white are now in the running, along with the Irish and the French, to take top spot.

With the three final games scheduled for the same day, one right after the other, rugby fans will be glued to your screens from lunchtime right through to the evening.

Saturday's first game sees Ireland travel to Italy to face an Azzurri team targeting three wins in a tournament for the first time ever. Tune in to BBC1 from 1.00pm for a 1.30pm kick-off.

Stick with BBC1 for France v Scotland. Before the shock defeat to England, Bernard Laporte's team were on course for a Grand Slam. Now they need a good win to keep Ireland and England at arms length and out of top spot on the tournament table. Kick-off is at 3.30pm.

No matter what happens in the first two games, it will all come down to Wales v England in the 5.30pm kick-off in Cardiff. If the game goes England's way, and Ireland and France come through, then points difference will determine the overall winners. It all adds up to what should be an unforgettable day.

As one major sporting event comes to a close, another is just getting under way. England play their first match of the 2007 Cricket World Cup on Friday when they take on New Zealand. Coverage of the match starts at 1.00pm.

England were surprise winners of the recent triangular series in Australia, and made short work of Bermuda in a World Cup warm-up match. In England's second warm-up, opponents Australia showed they were worthy of their fav-ourites tag, beating England by five wickets. Here's hoping Michael Vaughan's team can get it right when it counts, over the next six weeks.
