A Mariah Carey fan has reportedly been barred from his local pub after continually playing her songs on the juke box.
Jeff Donovan played Carey's hits in the Gordon Arms in Southampton up to 20 times a day.
After six years it became too much for licensee Roy Dann.
All the regulars used to whinge at him to stop, but he wouldn't listen and never put any other songs onlicensee Roy Dann.
Donovan told the Mirror: "I love Mariah and listen to her over and over again, but other people obviously didn't share my musical taste.
"At the start when the landlord threatened to bar me I thought he was joking. All my mates drink there. I'm gutted. I don't want to find another local, I like this one."
The chef added: "I've tried appealing to Roy to let me back in, but he's adamant I am barred for life."
Licensee Dann told the paper: "To start with we found it amusing. I actually used to like Mariah before. But the other customers just had enough of listening to the same songs over and over again.
"I gave him plenty of warnings but he just laughed and told me the customer is always right.
"All the regulars used to whinge at him to stop, but he wouldn't listen and never put any other songs on.
"I don't care what he says now, he's not coming back into my pub."
