A Blackpool licensed members club where Robbie Williams once performed has come onto the market.

The singer used the Central Club as the setting for one of his music videos.

The large club has an overall capacity of 950 and a large galleried concert room for 670 with stage and changing rooms.

The club was built on the site of a former brewery and also has a sizeable members bar with its own small stage and games room with two full-size snooker tables. The concert room has a 12ft drop-down projector screen and Sky TV.

Last year's turnover was £415,000 (excl. VAT) and is heading towards £500,000 for the current year.

The club currently has 850 members and is home to the Kite Club, which promotes and sells live bands to the main Central Club.

"It has excellent facilities and is well furbished throughout. It also has one of the

largest theatres with a stage in the north of England,"

said Humberstone's Andrew Jones, who is handling

the sale.

"Turnover could be grown substantially in the hands of professional management, especially when one considers the size of the trading areas and the fact that the current opening hours are relatively limited."

The freehold is on the

market for £995,000. For more information, call 0121 678 7788.
