Leominster

Sidney Phillips has sold the pub to Michael Bentley and Samantha Rosenberg. Rosenberg has worked in the hotel and leisure trade but for Bentley, a former chartered forester, this is a complete career change. The pair will work with head chef Will Hayward to develop
the food offering. "We're serving traditional and contemporary home-made food on our revised menu,
mostly from local farmers and growers," said Rosenberg.
The freehold of the Stockton Cross sold off an asking price

The Horseshoe Inn
Offord D'arcy
Cambridgeshire
The previous owner of the free-of-tie outlet bought it through Redwoods Dowling Kerr approximately 4 years ago in an attempt to 'save' it for the village. Since then, the Horseshoe Inn has undergone significant investment and refurbishment. After getting the business back on its feet, the previous owner ran the pub under management and achieved a weekly turnover of £9,000. New owner Mr Kennedy is a chef by trade and he plans to develop the catering side of the business and build up a strong reputation for fine food and wine. The property already accommodates for this, having a 48-cover restaurant and a further 30-cover bar area. Planning permission has been granted to add a conservatory, 10-bedroom letting accommodation and conference facilities. The leasehold was sold off an asking price of £200,000 through Redwoods Dowling Kerr.
