Heineken UK launches a new promotion giving consumers the chance to win a KEF 'instant DVD theatre' in selected bars throughout June and July.

The promotion forms part of Heineken's Gig The World promotion, which brings the excitement of some of the world's best music events to the UK and aims to attract student drinkers to the brand.

Ten outlets nationwide will be activating the promotion on live music nights, where a fantastic audio-visual package worth £1000 will be up for grabs.

Entering the prize draw is easy, drinkers simply fill out flyer during the evening and hand it to a member of staff. One lucky person will then be selected at random to win the KEF DVD and speaker system and can take it home that night.

"Music events are a great way to drive sales and footfall in many pubs and bars and especially appeal to students" says Chris Duffy, Head of Customer Marketing, Heineken UK. "This Gig the World promotion with KEF creates a new and interesting event for consumers, while helping bars to drive sales without having to discount prices"

A dedicated Gig the World activation team will support the participating venues, providing posters, banners and leaflets to create a buzz around the event and drive footfall in bar on gig nights. The KEF instant DVD theatre system will also be displayed in-outlet on the night of the promotion to create an exciting atmosphere for drinkers and attract extra competition entries.
