- Baileys Chocolate Cups
- Supplier: Diageo GB
- My Jim always says our area manager is as much use as a chocolate teapot - but as functional confectionery goes, these new Baileys Chocolate Cups are much more of a clever idea. I shouldn't touch chocolate, not with my hips, but these are going to be hard to resist. They're made from Belgian milk chocolate, and filled with a 35ml serving of chilled Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur are an ideal after-dinner profit booster. I can see these going down very well come Christmas.
Mini Pringles
Supplier: Procter & Gamble Professional
Size doesn't matter, so they tell me - but in the case of these new Mini Pringles, it's definitely the size that going to raise a few eyebrows. They're smaller than original Pringles, but just as tasty. They come in three flavours - Original, Sour Cream & Onion and Salt & Vinegar - and are supplied in display-ready boxes. I'm sure they'll go very nicely with a half of mild.
Maggi Golden Gravy
Supplier: Nestlé FoodServices
Our Christmas bookings are going very well, although I'm a bit worried that the local naturist society has booked for its lunch. I'd better get out that risk assessment form the brewery sent. Anyway, Maggi Golden Gravy is the ideal choice for all chicken and turkey dishes. It comes in four-litre packs and larger 2kg packs. They say it's 'rich and comforting, conjuring up nostalgic memories of Christmas dinner as it should be'. I suppose they never tasted my mum's gravy...
Clucking Fantastic
Supplier: KK
I almost reached for the swear box when I saw this, but I needn't have worried. 'Clucking Fantastic' is a lovely new range of dishes which has been developed after research into the market movement and analysis of consumer eating patterns. It includes Moroccan Lemon and Olive Chicken, Thai Green Chicken Curry, Mediterranean Chicken and the Classical French Chicken in White Wine and Mushroom Sauce. Much nicer than anything you'd develop if you analysed the eating habits in this pub, I bet.
