Greene King Pub Partners has introduced a new support package for licensees looking to develop their food offering.

The tenanted and leased arm of the Suffolk brewing giant has teamed up with foodservice distributor 3663 to deliver the solution called SCOFF - Simple Catering Options for Food.

Pub Partners trade marketing manager Gillian Mountague said: "SCOFF has been specifically created to help licensees with little or no existing food offering.

"The easy-to-produce snacks and meals are ideal for licensees with very limited cooking facilities, kitchen equipment or food preparation training. The frozen ready-meals are simple to prepare using an oven, microwave and fryer. The overall aim of SCOFF is to help licensees attract new customers and boost trade in wet-led pubs."

Two SCOFF menus are now availabe, with plans for eight altogether. The first option, 'Hot Stuff', offers jacket potatoes and paninis with a variety of fillings. The second, 'In the mood for …', features Italian, Indian and British nain courses with a selection of side orders.

Licensees who register for SCOFF will receive information packs which include cooking instructions, gross profit pricing options and pre-printed menus.

Licensees will receive deliveries from 3663 and a weekly service call to re-order. Ms Mountague said: "This uncomplicated 'one-stop-shop' approach saves time and eliminates the need to deal with a variety of suppliers and different delivery days."
