  • Hi Spirits has added two new flavours to its Antica Sambuca range. Banana and Mandarin are both now available from Waverley TBS with the Mandarin also stocked by Matthew Clark. The development company has also agreed a deal with the Candy Shot Company in the US to add its Slingshot Vodka range to the Hi Spirits portfolio in the UK. At 25 per cent ABV the range will be available at a lower price than many of its competitors.

KC Brands announced that it would be launching rapper Nelly's new non-alcoholic energy drink Pimp Juice into the UK on June 1. The apple flavoured drink is non-carbonated and can be used as a mixer with spirits such as cognac and shooter brands like Jaegermeister.

William Grant & Sons, distillers of Glenfiddich and the Balvenie whiskies, was showcasing its newest product - Sailor Jerry rum. The product is 40 per cent ABV and is a blend of Caribbean rum, ginger, cinnamon, clove, vanilla and an infusion of fresh lime.

Brand Central used the show to confirm the launch of its Saxon 1050 apple juice range. Already available in top-end retail outlets like Harrods and Selfridges, the company has set its sights on the on-trade, saying it can offer something appealing to health conscious pub-goers.

Opies, manufacturers of cocktail garnishes, has been appointed UK distributor of cocktail mix brand Finest Call. The range of pre-mixed cocktails includes Bloody Mary and Cosmopolitan and is aimed at licensees looking at a cheaper way of getting cocktails into their drinks offer.
