Brains is building on the success of its sponsorship of the grand-slam winning Welsh rubgy team with a three-year extension to its partnership with Glamorgan cricket.
The brewer has been main sponsor of the club for four years. This summer, for the first time, the Brains name will be on the Glamorgan shirts for all four of the major competitions.
The deal also sees a return of Brains branding and the 'more positive thinking' campaign to the Sophia Gardens ground. As well as sponsoring the official kit, Brains will also be supplying the club's beers, including its new Extra Cold range to the bars for the first time.
The club is now one of only four grounds in the UK to have floodlights, and is preparing to host international cricket as well as major high profile tournaments such as the totesport League and the Twenty20 Cup.
Mike Fatkin, chief executive of Glamorgan Cricket, said:"Glamorgan is the home of Welsh cricket and is followed by people from all over the country so we are delighted to welcome on board our new sponsors."
Stewart Dobson, group marketing manager for Brains, added:"Over the past two seasons we have forged a great relationship with the club and we were delighted to continue those great links at Sophia Gardens for another three years.
"We'd like to think that we are able to bring the success of our 'positive thinking' campaign from the Grand Slam to the cricket pitch this year."
