The Rose & Crown, a historic 400-year-old pub and restaurant, is up for grabs in Wiltshire.

The pub, set on a roadside position on the A360, is in the village of Tilshead about halfway between Devizes and Amesbury.

"With two bars and an established restaurant, the Rose & Crown presents new owners with plenty of scope for developing trade," said Bill Evans, of Fleurets' Bristol office.

"This attractive property occupies a central position in the village."

Inside, there are two bars, pump room, the restaurant (up to 65 covers), a well-equipped trade kitchen and four-bedroom owner's accommodation.

The lounge bar has a stone fronted bar servery and timber-beamed ceilings and leads to the pump room, which serves as a reception area for the restaurant.

The public bar has a substantial brick fireplace, bench seating, darts throw and pool table.

Outside, there is car parks for 23 vehicles and a beer garden.

The Rose & Crown is being marketed off a guide price of £425,000 for the freehold.
