Cardiff-based brewer and retailer SA Brain is offering its first leases in a new initiative called Positive Partnerships at 21 pubs within its estate.
Under the Positive Partnership scheme, lessees at the 21 pubs, formerly managed outlets, will be offered 20-year terms.
The leases will feature variable barrelage discounts coupled with a support package that will cover a range of issues, including training, marketing, promotions and in some cases, refurbishment.
This is the first time that Brains has looked to run part of the estate under leasehold.
Isabelle Whitehouse, head of tenanted and leasehold business at SA Brain, said: "I am confident that the new Positive Partnership leaseholds will prove a success.
"At Brains we believe the licensee plays a huge part in determining the success of any pub. With this in mind, we are looking for talented, positivethinking professionals to take on these new leaseholds.
She added: "As Wales' leading drinks and hospitality company we are able to provide the licensees with all the support they need, from training and technical support to marketing and promotions.
"We will be giving a long-term commitment to the licensees, giving them the security and independence they need to develop a successful and fulfilling business."
The 21 pubs are situated across the south of Wales and England's West Midlands region. Prospective leaseholders will be able to view the 21 pubs during open-house viewing sessions.
Brains has recently won a series of awards, including Welsh Company of the Year in 2003 and is currently the official sponsor of Welsh Rugby Union.
