A group of men convicted of violent disorder after the Euro 2004 football riots have been banned from pubs for six years.
The 10 men were found guilty of various offences after 400 people rioted in Croydon town centre on June 13 2004, following the televised England v France football match.
Following the game missiles were thrown at police and police vehicles were damaged and more than £250,000 of damage was caused to property.
Last week Croydon Crown Court heard Matthew Carroll (pictured) plead guilty to violent disorder as the 19 year old and six other men were given custodial sentences.
They along with another four men are all subject to a six-year football banning order including a ban on watching any football match in any licensed premises.
Chief Inspector David Clayton, senior investigating officer at Croydon Police, said: "'The conviction of these violent offenders demonstrates that combating alcohol related crime and disorder remains a priority for Croydon Police and is an area that we will continue to tackle to ensure that alcohol-related violence in and around licensed premises continues to fall."
Those sentenced are: Connor O'Kane of South Norwood, London; Mark John Winiarski of South Norwood, London; Stuart Morris Brooks of Addiscombe, Surrey; Luke Thomas Daniels of Newton Abbott, Devon; Peter Goodwin of South Croydon, Surrey; Bill Killick of Crawley, West Sussex; Danny Stride of Croydon, Surrey; Kevin Reed of Croydon, Surrey; Lewis Rees of Biggin Hill, Kent.
