Police seek witnesses to shooting Police suspect that a shooting at a south London pub, which left one man seriously injured, could be linked to an earlier fight outside the premises.
A man wearing a black balaclava walked into the White Lion on Garratt Lane, SW17, and fired a number of shots, some of which seriously injured a customer.
The attacker was seen leaving the pub in a dark, four-door saloon car, accompanied by two other men.
Police last week said they believe the incident, on Tuesday 31 August, could be linked to a fight outside the White Heart on the previous Sunday.
In this incident, people inside the pub rushed outside to break up the fight between 2am and 2.30am.
The people who intervened sustained injuries.
The suspect is described as black, 5ft 8ins, of medium build, wearing jeans and a dark top.
Those involved in the fight outside the pub are described as two black males and three white males, all in their mid-20s.
DS Neil Lemon said: "This seems to be an apparently unprovoked shooting."
The victim of the shooting, a man in his 30s, remains in hospital where his condition is described as critical but stable.
