Former head of Inn Partnership Martin Grant is to head motorway service-station chain RoadChef. He will succeed John Greenwood, who has been in charge of the business since January 2001. Grant ran the Nomura-owned Inn Partnership, the 1,200-strong tenanted pub business sold to Pubmaster. He also headed the Swallow Hotels group. Museum signing The Museum Brewing Company has signed a new contract with Coors Brewers for Worthington's White Shield to double production of the brand. To mark this event the vintage brewing plant at the Museum of Brewing in Burton upon Trent has been renamed the White Shield Brewery in recognition of the brew's importance. Jimmy Sutton Former trustee of the Society of Licensed Victuallers Jimmy Sutton passed away on Thursday, 15 April. He was chairman the charity's Welfare Committee, as well as being chairman of the North London Charitable Association and also a strong supporter of the North London LVA. He retired from the Committee of Management in April 2001 after 25 years, having done much to promote the interests of the SLV. His funeral takes place on 27 April at 2.30pm, at Bedford Crematorium.
