JD Wetherspoon has won three top awards in the pubs and clubs category of the Loo of the Year competition 2003.
The Society Rooms in Stalybridge (pictured), the Edward G Wylie in Glasgow and The Ernest Willows in Cardiff were voted as the national winners in England, Scotland and Wales respectively.
All of the pub toilets are judged on décor and maintenance, cleanliness, accessibility, hand-washing and drying equipment and overall management.
Richard Chisnell spokesman for the British Toilet Association, said: "Wetherspoon has shown, once again, that it leads the way in providing the best pub toilets.
"The Loo of the Year awards have a simple objective: to encourage the highest-possible standards in all types of 'away-from-home' or public toilets.
"Pubs throughout the UK need to follow the very fine example being set by Wetherspoon for customer care in this very important customer service."
Operations director of Wetherspoon's Nathan Wall said: "The lavatories are an important aspect of each of our pubs, and we will strive to ensure that Wetherspoon's outlets continue to have the best toilets in the industry."
