Constellation Wine has declared last month's Stowells Taste the World Wine Tour a success. Some 100,000 samples of Constellation wines from France, Spain, Chile, Italy and Australia were gulped during the tour, which visited London, Manchester and Bristol. Each destination included tasting pods in the theme of Stowells wine-producing countries, and wine experts were on-hand to give advice. Loxtons gets hot Food supplier Loxtons has launched a new dish based on its Chilli Con Carne range Chilli Pasta with Yoghurt & Coriander. The meal features cavatelli pasta twists topped with chilli and a dollop of yoghurt and coriander sauce. It comes in 460g portions. Sharpe move British gin and vodka distiller G&J Greenall has appointed Tony Sharpe as managing director. Sharpe, who takes over from David Rees, has held several managing director posts at the Coca-Cola Company. The new MD said he aimed to expandthe business and Greenall's brands which include Original London Dry Gin and Gin and Tonic RTD worldwide. Martini revamp Martini has revamped its bottle-label design in a bid to attract more female drinkers. The new design features a foil-edged label aimed at boosting shelf presence and promoting the drink as a premium brand. The Martini logo has also been given a more prominent position on the new-look Italian spirit bottle. Producers, Martini and Rossi aim to increase the spirit's appeal among its target 25 to 50-year-old female drinkers. The re-launch will be backed by radio and magazine advertising.
