A landlord has blasted anti-hunt campaigners for trying to warn customers away from his pub.
The Greyhound pub in Charcott, near Tonbridge in Kent, has been targeted by the Surrey Anti-Hunt Campaign (SAHC), which has been circulating leaflets naming and shaming pubs they believe to be supporting hunting groups.
Arthur Tabrett, the landlord of the Greyhound, is unhappy with the SAHC's tactics.
"They have printed the names and addresses of the manager and chef of one of the pubs on the leaflet and that is outrageous. The whole thing will have no effect on me though.
"I am in business and I see no reason to turn pro-hunters away. I am not pro-hunting but they have their views and I have mine."
Campaigners have been going into pubs armed with the fliers, which challenge any pubs that "dare to show their heads" as supporters of hunting and any drinkers that "deal with these evil thugs", to end their support or face the consequences.
The Greyhound was named with nine other pubs in Kent and Sussex in a leaflet called Boycott Hunt Pubs. The leaflet claimed these pubs were "at the very heart of this callous and bloody sport".
