  • Ascot Inns​, the Berkshire-based pub company, has opened its third A Bar 2 Far​ in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

The company purchased the former Bar 54​, previously owned by the Voyager Pub Company​, to transfer to the concept.

The asking price of the site was £100,000 for the leasehold and Christie & Co​ handled the sale.

The Masons Arms​ in Bishop Monkton, near Harrogate in North Yorkshire, is situated in a conservation area. It is a detached property and has a traditional bar with beams, games room and a large dining room.

There is five-bedroom owners' accommodation on the site, which under previous ownership have been used as letting rooms.
