  • Ascot Inns, the Berkshire-based pub company, has opened its third A Bar 2 Far in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

The company purchased the former Bar 54, previously owned by the Voyager Pub Company, to transfer to the concept.

The asking price of the site was £100,000 for the leasehold and Christie & Co handled the sale.

The Masons Arms in Bishop Monkton, near Harrogate in North Yorkshire, is situated in a conservation area. It is a detached property and has a traditional bar with beams, games room and a large dining room.

There is five-bedroom owners' accommodation on the site, which under previous ownership have been used as letting rooms.
