Contrary to AC Nielsen figures published in the Morning Advertiser on 10 April, Charles Wells brewery wishes to correct inaccurate figures for Bombardier English Premium Bitter.

The bitter has achieved impressive and constant growth.

Volume now brewed exceeds 45,000 barrels per year, growing from 11,000 barrels per year in the past few years.

This represents sales growth amounting to 35% year on year.

"As the market in totality is declining at -6% and we are growing at +35% each year, this gives us a total growth of 41% against the market performance", said a company spokeswoman.
