Suffolk pub the Felsto Arms has been sold after 75 years in the same family to Berkshire-based pubco Pollard Inns. The freehold freehouse, on Felixstowe seafront, was sold off an asking price of £350,000 by licensee Pat Baker through Fleurets. Bob Whittle, who handled the sale, said the property was formerly a hotel but was converted into a pub by Baker in 1974. Other properties recently changing hands through Fleurets include the Fairy Falls Hotel sold to Punch Pub Company and the Paul Pry Inn sold by InnSpired to a local entrepreneur. The Fairy Falls Hotel, in Trefirw, Conwy Valley, North Wales, was sold on behalf of James and June Craig who, within three weeks of placing it on the market, received the offer from Punch. The pair had been at the pub for 18 years and are taking a break before moving on to their next venture. The Paul Pry Inn in Worcester city centre was sold to Martin Jones, who was seeking a fresh opportunity having sold the Three Horseshoes in Leominster town centre to SA Brains. He wanted the pub to be within easy driving distance of his hotel, the George Hotel in Bewdley.
