Lancashire brewer Daniel Thwaites has announced a series of operating changes designed to increase the company's business performance on the national stage.
It includes the creation of three new positions marketing brands manager and two business development managers.

Music backers A cross-party committee of MPs and Peers has claimed the Licensing Bill inhibits the human rights of live performers by infringing their freedom of expression.
The committee claimed the necessity for pubs to get a licence, under the Licensing Bill, for all live performances, regardless of the size of the audience, was heavy-handed and was "incompatible" with the European Convention on Human Rights.

Flush joined Greene King Pub Company in 1999, having formerly worked in pub restaurant management for 17 years.
