Inside Albert’s Schloss London
Back in 2018, Albert's Schloss' parent company Mission Mars received a £10m investment to help fund nationwide expansion from the British Growth Fund.
The Albert’s Schloss concept is based around Prince Albert, aiming to represent his Bavarian heritage, connections to famous European Schloss and his love of art, music and celebration. It also aims to showcase the best of European biers including Paulaner Munich, Stiegl Goldbrau and Erdinger Weissbrau alongside Pilsner Urquell, which is delivered weekly to the site.
Furthermore, drinkers can quaff from a carefully curated cocktail and lists while nibbling on traditional European fare such as Schweinshaxe, Spätzle and Fondue with a modern Schloss twist.
It also won the Best Concept award at The Morning Advertiser’s sister title MCA’s Hospitality Awards this year.
Its Liverpool Albert’s Schloss, which opened in September 2022 following a £3m investment, joined the firm’s Albert’s Schenke site also in the city.
This joined venues in Manchester and Birmingham. The London venue, which is set to open next month (July), took over the Jungle Cave site, formerly The Rainforest Café on Shaftesbury Avenue.
The site has received a £7m investment and is set over two floors with a spacious 18,000sq ft and room for more than 600 guests.

The ground floor Schenke Tavern will be open every day from 9am on a walk-in basis, serving breakfast and an all-day menu.
Every inch of the site has been considered in the design.
Guests will be treated to raucous performances and seven days of live entertainment.
The site has benefitted from a multi-million pound investment.
Merchandise is on offer for guests to purchase.
There's even a disco toilet!
Seven days of showtime performances are part of the venue's offer including curated guest acts and live performers.
On the ground floor, beers including Augustiner, Spaten, Hacker-Pschoor, Paulaner Hofbräu and Löwenbräu are available alongside fresh tank bier from Pilsner Urquell, delivered weekly from Plzen to Albert's Schloss.
A plethora of dishes are on offer across various day parts.
Breakfast is served from 9am until noon.
