Brewhouse & Kitchen opens 20th site

Publican Awards winner Brewhouse & Kitchen, the pub and microbrewery chain, is to open its 20th site on Monday 23 April, after a £1m investment.

The new site in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, spans 6,300sq ft across three floors and has 250 dining covers inside with an additional 80 external seats for alfresco dining.

The pub, which has created 50 jobs, will also offer a private function room for parties, meetings and events. It also has a feature balcony, which overlooks 12th Street square.

Brewhouse & Kitchen beers will be brewed on-site up to four times a week.

Original brews

Many of these original brews will receive their names from key figures of Milton Keynes, including ‘Webber’s Vision’  – named after Melvin B Webber, who was credited with the inspiration for the ‘new town’ of Milton Keynes; and ‘Leaping Man’, in tribute to local athletics hero Greg Rutherford MBE, who is a world and Olympic champion long jumper.

There is also a wide range of gins, wines, cocktails and soft drinks, together with more than 50 craft beers and ciders. It will also offer beer experiences to its customers, including beer masterclasses, beer and food matching and brewery experience days.

Excited

Brewhouse & Kitchen managing director Simon Bunn said: “We are really excited to be bringing our biggest pub and microbrewery to Milton Keynes.

“The team and I are really looking forward to sharing that passion with the local community, while creating a destination experience for all to enjoy.”

Brewhouse & Kitchen were given two awards at the Publican Awards in the Best Pub Employer and Best Managed Pub Company categories.
