Its list of target towns and cities, seen by the Publican’s Morning Advertiser’s sister title M&C Report, includes the West End, the City and Canary Wharf in London, and locations across the home counties, including Amersham, Bromley, Colchester, Kingston, Guildford and Harpenden.
In Manchester, Revere is looking in the centre, in Hale, Alderley Edge, Wilsmlow, and West Didsbury. Other major cities in the north are also targeted, including Durham, Leeds and Liverpool. Outlets in Scotland are also sought, in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Other target areas include Birmingham (Harborne and central), Bournemouth, Canterbury, Cardiff, Cheltenham, Exeter, Bury St Edmunds and Bishops Stortford.
M&C reported in February that the group, which is led by Colin Sadler, has appointed Simon Johnson of Quirico Estates to aid its expansion drive as it seeks high-profile, high street locations, with the view to making two to three openings a year. Revere is focusing on sites between 5,000 and 7,000 sq ft.
Revere’s most recent investment, of its Pitcher & Piano in Derby, has seen the unit given a stripped-back look to achieve an industrial feel throughout, “softened with pops of decorative colour”.The refurbishment includes the addition of two feature booths, suitable for small group bookings, which are designed with a distressed tin wall back panelling and scaffolding-style shelving overhead. The large alfresco includes festoon lighting, colourful seating and new planting.
Sadler said: “The focus to invest in our premium bar brand, Pitcher & Piano, continues in Derby. We are delighted with the results of this refurbishment and feel that it has created a relaxed and welcoming bar and restaurant for any time of the day. We are looking forward to further developments across the UK in the future.”
