Tim Bilton, chef/owner of the Butchers Arms in Hepworth, West Yorkshire, has been named Pub Restaurant Chef of the Year in the Craft Guild of Chefs Awards 2011.
The award was one of 14 presented last night at an awards dinner at London's Westminster Park Plaza Hotel.
Bilton, who won Gastropub of the Year in the Publican's Morning Advertiser's Great British Pub Awards 2010, is also a partner in the Kaye Arms at Grange Moor, Wakefield.
The other two finalists in the pub restaurant category were Daniel Turner, of the White Hart, Maulden and Graham White of the Plough Inn, Hungerford, Berkshire.
Bilton took on Enterprise Inns lease the Butchers Arms in 2008.
He was a finalist in the current series of the North East heat of BBC2's Great British Menu.
