Beam Global UK has partnered with The Observer newspaper in a search for members to join an elite on-line network named "Courvoisier The Future 500".
The network, part of Beam's £11m investment in the brand this year, is an attempt to link some of the UK's "most influential and successful people" while raising the profile of the Courvoisier Cognac brand.
Courvoisier The Future 500 will be promoted through consumer advertising online, as well as print and outdoor, along with coverage in The Observer. Online advertising will include the Financial Times, The Times, Reuters, Growing Business and Condé Nast, the company said.
Prospective members can apply or be nominated by submitting an online application to Courvoisier The Future 500 recruitment sites at www.CVTF500.com and www.guardian.co.uk.
Access to the network will be granted by a panel of judges made up of people who have achieved significant success in their careers, combined with representatives from The Observer.
The "most entrepreneurial candidates" will not only receive a place on the network but also see their name featured on the Guardian Unlimited website. The top 100 new recruits will be profiled in a supplement in The Observer and a prize of £5,000 will be given to the person singled out as the "one to watch 2009".
Courvoisier The Future 500 will give each member direct access to the judges and other "rising stars" as well as the chance to attend exclusive social and networking events.
Members will have the opportunity to give other members exclusive offers and discounts on their products and services, and have access to the "The Future Bank" which funds collaborations between members.
Beam Global UK brand manager for Courvoisier, Claire Richards, said: "The network unites some of the UK's brightest talents while helping to build a connection between these target consumers and Courvoisier."
