We've all known for years that Giles Thorley is a massive Star Wars fan. But did you know his devotion to matters galactic led him to post his interest on the Friends Reunited site?
Or come to that, did you know that Ralph Findlay, chief executive of Wolverhampton & Dudley, has also recorded his details on the FR site?
The Punch chief executive, he narrates, left Hereford Cathedral School "in pursuit of the forces of evil."
He goes on to say: "Despite a low midi-chlorian count I was accepted into the training school under the tutorage of the great Yoda. On becoming a Jedi knight, I realised that I was unable to control my anger and converted to the dark side." And so Darth Vader went to work in the City.
"After eight years wearing a black mask I escaped with the help of my long-lost son who led me to the bar [of a pub]. I now run a company with just over 4,000 bars."
The last time he updated his page was on 14 June 2002.
Ralph's entry, last updated in April this year, is altogether more low-key. "Living in Wolverhampton as chief executive of a brewing and pubs group." Disappointingly for Greene King and others, the section "Ralph's plans for the future" is left blank.
The FR people add: "Ralph hasn't added any future plans yet. To find out what he wants to do, click here and get in touch."
Over to you, Rooney.
