Admiral ale scoops top honours
St Austell Brewery’s Admiral’s Ale has been voted best packaged beer in the world.
The brew scooped the award at the International Beer Challenge — held in association with Morning Advertiser's sister paper Off Licence News.
“It is a big thrill to have won such a top award and a great credit to the team for the way in which we are consistently producing top quality ales which are setting new standards in the brewing industry,” said director of brewing Roger Ryman.
The beers are judged on taste and packaging.
